Winter

I miss waking up to mornings
wondering
if
tomorrow would ever be different
Than the morning I have
today
empty, cold and alone
with the open window letting the wind in
you
always did stuff it with something
will
it ever be warm in here
because it always did before
Wish you could
come
and share the cold, just as soon as you are
back
to
stuff the broken window
and make
me
feel warm again

Big Trades, Good Drafts, and Remembering the Shaq Lebron Dance Off

Got lost somewhere between the NBA trades? Here's the lot...

Cleveland traded Sasha Pavlovic, Ben Wallace and the 46th pick to Phoenix for Shaquille O'Neal

Just what I (and other Cavs fan) have been waiting for. Somebody to actually play center in the Cavs, move over Ilgauskas, move over Varejao, the real thing has arrived. The trade would really make Cleveland a little less slower, but if we would see the LeBron-Shaq combo to be as good as the Shaq-Kobe combo, everything would just be a test.

New Jersey traded Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson to Orlando for Rafer Alston, Tony Battie and Courtney Lee

Honestly, I hated Courtney Lee for that super miss he made at (was that?) game 3 against the lakers... Vince Carter would honestly another oldie for the magics... Nelson-Carter... just another one for the nursing home...

Milwaukee traded Richard Jefferson to San Antonio for Bruce Bowen, Fabricio Oberto and Kurt Thomas, and traded Oberto to Detroit for Amir Johnson

3 way trades don't usually backfire... this one was rather.. uhmm... lets say... something to look forward to... Its nice to have somebody to assist the threesome the Spurs already has...

And some more trades...

Atlanta traded Speedy Claxton and Acie Law to Golden State for Jamal Crawford

Minnesota traded Randy Foye and Mike Miller to Washington for Oleksiy Pecherov, Darius Songaila, Etan Thomas and the No. 5 pick.

Memphis traded Darko Milicic to New York for Quentin Richardson

Before Shaq and LeBron actually became teammates in Cleveland... they became teammates in the allstars... and they actually had a dance off... Click here

More Tribute: This Time its Pinoy

Remember how the original Thriller video was like.?

Zombies... Monsters... People running around...

Well, its a lot different from this version... Inmates Dancing Thriller

The routine was flocked by almost 1,500 people, tourists and locals alike. These inmates are from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center, Cebu, Philippines. The inmates danced as a tribute to their "idol".

Here is another tribute to the King of Pop, this time by an array of artists featuring The Game, Chris Brown, Diddy, Usher, Mario Winans, Boyz2Men and other leading artists. This song already reached more than 100,000 plays as it was tweeted by Diddy.

Here's the Link Better On The Other Side

Tributes to the King of Pop Michael Jackson

A lot of tributes are coming in from all around the globe for the King of Pop, may it be from people in the music industry of just simply the people who admired the living legend.

Jermaine Jackson:
Confirming his passing to the waiting media last night:
My brother, the legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson passed away on Thursday June 25th, 2009 at 2.26pm. It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home.
Our family requests that the media please respects our privacy at this tough time.
And may Allah be with you Michael, always. Love you.

Paul McCartney:
I feel privileged to have hung out and worked with Michael. He was a massively talented boy man with a gentle soul. His music will be remembered forever and my memories of our time together will be happy ones.

Madonna:
I can't stop crying over the sad news. I've always admired Michael Jackson - the world has lost one of its greats, but his music will live on forever.
My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless.

Britney Spears:
I was so excited to see his tour in London. We were going to be on tour in Europe at the same time and I was going to fly into see him.
He's been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I'm devastated that he's gone.

Quincy Jones:
I'm absolutely devastated at this news. I just don't have the words. Divinity brought our souls together and allowed us to do what we could do through the 80s.
To this day that music is played in every corner of the world, and the reason is because he had it all - talent, grace and professionalism. I've lost my little brother today and part of my soul has gone with him.

Lisa Marie Presley:
I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible.
I am heartbroken for his children, who I know were everything to him, and for his family.
This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me.

Slash:
Really sad news about Michael, he was a talent from on high.

Cher:
I'm having a million different reactions I didn't expect I would feel.
He was a great singer - God gives you certain gifts, and this child was just an extraordinary child touched by this ability. He could sing like nobody else and he was able to connect with people.

Celine Dion:
I am shocked. I am overwhelmed by this tragedy. Michael Jackson has been an idol for me all my life.
He was not only a talented person, but he was unique - a genius. It's such a loss. It feels like when Kennedy died, when Elvis died. My sympathy goes to the family. It's a big loss and it's not even sinking in right now.

Coldplay:
MJ was the best of the best. His music and performances made the world a brighter place. His light will shine on forever. Coldplay.
Chris Cornell:I remembered being six years old and seeing the Jackson 5 on our black and white TV. His brothers were cool but he had a halo around him.
Superstar at 12. What promise. He had magic!

Justin Timberlake:
I can’t find the words right now to express how deeply saddened I am by Michael’s passing. We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop music but of all music. He has been an inspiration to multiple generations and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.
My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.

P Diddy:
Michael Jackson showed me that you can actually see the beat. He made the music come to life. He made me believe in magic. I will miss him.

Usher:
My heart goes out to the King of Pop and his family.

Wyclef Jean:
Michael Jackson was my musical god. He made me believe that all things are possible, through real and positive music.
He can live forever. I love Michael Jackson. God bless him.

Dionne Warwick:
We have lost an icon in our industry and my heartfelt condolences go out to his family and children in this hour of sorrow.
He will live on in my memory, and most definitely through the music he shared with so many.

Donna Summer:
I've known Michael for many years and we've done many different things together over the years.
I know his family and it's just a total shock. I don't even have words to say. I mean I'll miss Michael, the world will miss Michael and I'm sure the world is in a state of grief right now.
I will personally miss him, I will miss his light, I will miss his star, I will miss who he has caused other people to become because of his greatness. He upped the standard.

MC Hammer:
I will be mourning my friend, brother, mentor and inspiration. He gave me and my family hope. I would never have been me without him.

The King of Pop dies at 50

You might no know this guy... But you certainly would recognize this guy...

Maybe, if he had just one last pose before he died... He should have had looked like that one above...

Today's Headlines:

Pop icon Michael Jackson dead: official

I found myself shocked with the news that Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, has already passed away... MJ died at the age of 50 at his rented Holmby Hills Mansion.

Paramedics found Jackson in cardiac arrest when they arrived at his home shortly before 12:30 p.m., three minutes and 17 seconds after receiving a 911 call. His personal physician was already in the house performing CPR. Jackson was not breathing, and it appears he never regained consciousness. Paramedics treated Jackson at the house for 42 minutes, and he was declared dead at 2:26 p.m. at UCLA Medical Center, about two miles from his home above Sunset Boulevard. (http://www.latimes.com/)

MJ, as what everybody knows, lives in his "Neverland Ranch" somewhere in the Santa Barbara County which was named after the place where Peter Pan and friends supposedly didnt age. The Holmby residence, a seven-bedroom estate, where he died was rented by MJ for 100,000 dollars. The reason for MJ's visit to Los Angeles was to rehearse for 50 sold-out concerts in London's O2 Arena, that was expected to start at July 13 and had been dubbed "This Is It." The series of concerts were key to a "comeback" designed to begin wiping out Jackson's staggering debt, which amounted to almos 400 million, and return the singer to the icon status.

Word of Jackson's death ricocheted around the nation. In Gary, Ind., outside his modest childhood home, fans formed a prayer circle. In New York, fans moonwalked outside the legendary Apollo Theater, where Jackson performed when he was 9. According to the Associated Press, so many people tried to verify Jackson's death that Google's computers interpreted the simultaneous searches for "Michael Jackson" as an automated attack. To the King of Pop... Rest in Peace

Meet the Great Ex

I want to make it final...I dont want to play games with you anymore...

AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

I couldnt sleep. Maybe because of the time. It's 12midnight and im still wide awake. Staring at nothingness and thinking of ways to get filthy rich. At that moment, I knew I cant sleep with those things in mind. So I went out of the house, walked all the way from torres to rizal park. That was almost an hour of walking around. Walking calms me, almost like a way to unwind.
Then where else would I go next. To the inviting and warm comforts of the internet. Out of nowhere, I logged in my yahoo account, which I seldom do, by the way. Lo and Behold, three friends online (actually, i really dont know the other 2 people, they were just on my list, weird) Then I saw she was online. Not that much, I could use somebody to talk to, maybe she could even give me the grand idea on how to get rich.

What I thought would be a useless and random conversation proved to be a very emotional and personal one. Then the words, I want to make it final...I dont want to play games with you anymore... She aint angry, she just thinks I'm trouble, and there I was, thinking once again what could have had happened if. It was hell, I couldnt get myself together, I was throwing emotions all around the place (and I thought I was getting good with emotions).

Thats life, you win some you lose some, the only sad part is, more often than not, you lose the ones you love the most. I never thought I could never ever be corny outside flirting. Talking to her was pain by itself. Everything ended with a simple statement. Some things never change, But some really do...

Why My Room Smells Like Mothballs

ZzzzZZzzzZzzZZzzzZZzzZz

Ever had that feeling when you just want to go home to that all too familiar room of yours. That special room of yours that holds all your secrets? That dark empty room where everything you need is kept?
I guess my room is no different from everyone else's room. It has a creaky door, although mine has a unique twist in it, it doesnt have a lock. It doesnt even have a door knob. Sad. Another unique thing about my room is that its located between the living room and the masters bedroom and its dark. Even in broad daylight, it still feels like 6 in the afternoon. This is the main reason I call it limbo, because everything starts to feel weird when in my room. Like sudden disappearances of some, if not all, the food stored in the masters bedroom and the leftovers are found in my room, its all a blur, I can't really tell what or who. The thing is, weird things happen to food in my room. The room walls are bare, except for some traces of pencil writings, stray marks of permanent markers and the "unknown bizarre objects" in the walls. This "unknown bizarre objects" makes me come to a conclusion that the previous owner of the room has some sort of civilization only known to him, after all, my room is weird.

ZZZzZZZzzzzZzzzZZzzzZZZZZzzZ

Now you ask why my room smells like mothballs. It happened one fateful morning. My mom started fixing my room, well I do fix my room, every now and then, it was only by chance that she had to, really. She noticed the room had an ominous odor (not mine, I smell great). We guessed it was because of the hidden leftover food and the unwashed laundry. I could not contest with the findings because she had a jury led by my sister and younger brother. And aside from that, she also noticed a lot of roaches roaming about the room. The house is really old, like 10-20 years or so and made of wood. Roaches are bound to procreate there, its natures way of forcing people to migrate to better, cement houses. So there were two choices, I could transfer to another room, or share a room with my sister, or better yet, get me a new apartment. The only problem was, those options were self made. So they opted for their own option which would prove to be catastrophic. My mom bought mothballs, I don't know why, but the fact that the smell was so pungent, maybe roaches hated them too.

The first time I entered my Mothball fragranced room, there was this clash of senses. My eyes wouldnt send messages coinciding with my nose, it was like smelling Christmas in the middle of summer. That was then I came to see those small balls, white in color, almost like marbles, only white. I threw myself to my bed and let out a little sigh. What worse could happen. Its limbo anyways.
